Confidentiality

For most of our surveys, patients are assured that their responses are confidential. The questionnaires only have a unique serial number on them which is linked to our patient database.

We will not inform the NHS organisations who we work with of who responded to the surveys and we will not report any results in a way that someone could be identified. We anonymised any free-text comments, and we group results so that individuals can't be identified. This normally means reporting age and ethnic groups in aggregated groups.
