Each year, Trusts in England are obliged to carry out 1 or 2 patient surveys, the results of which feed into the Care Quality Commission published Annual Health Check.

An Adult Inpatient survey is timetabled for September for Acute Trusts. Further details have yet to be announced.

Recent surveys have included a survey of general practice for Primary Care Trusts and a survey of patients on the Care Programme Approach for Mental Health Trusts.
