How do we do our surveys?

Most of our surveys are carried out by post. This is the most cost-effective way of getting responses from large numbers of people. We send out a questionnaire, covering letter and freepost return envelope. After 2 weeks we send a reminder and we send a final reminder after a further 2 weeks. Patients can complete the questionnaire and return it at no cost. If they don't want to take part in the survey they can return the incomplete questionnaire to us.

Increasing numbers of our surveys are now available to patients via our web-site. Up to 10% of patients now respond this way.

By phone
If patients need help in completing a questionnaire we offer to complete questionnaires over the telephone.
